This Cookie Policy and Clarification Text have been prepared by SailGoTurkey (“SailGoTurkiye”), who is the data controller within the scope of Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in the Fulfillment of the Disclosure Obligation, regarding the cookie information obtained through the website sailgoturkey.com

a) What is a Cookie?

Cookies are low-dimensional rich text format formats generally consisting of letters and numbers, which are recorded by the website when a web page is visited, which record certain information about the users by the website through browsers on the users' terminal devices (such as computers, smartphones, or other devices such as tablets). Cookies do not contain personal data about visitors, such as name, gender or address.

f) Rights of the Personal Data Owner within the Scope of Article 11 of KVKK

As personal data owners, you can request your requests regarding your rights by filling out the Information Request Form (it is possible to access the relevant form at sailgoturkey.com address) and by using one of the methods specified in the form to reach SailGoTurkey (by hand and through a notary public to the address Bodrum, Mugla / Turkey or by using the electronic mail address info@sailgoturkey.com registered in our systems in accordance with the "Communiqué on the Right to Application Procedures and Principles to the Data Controller" or by sending an e-mail to sailgoturkey@hs01.kep.tr as our KEP (Registered Electronic Mail) address), the request will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged by SailGoTurkey.

 

In this context, personal data owners have the right

  • to learn whether personal data is processed or not,

  • if their personal data has been processed, to request information about it,

  • to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

  • to know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred at in Turkey or abroad,

  • in case the personal data are processed incompletely or incorrectly, to request their correction and to request that the transaction carried out within this scope is notified to the third parties to whom the personal data are transferred,

  • to request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing disappear, even though it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws, and to request that the transaction carried out within this scope is notified to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,

  • to object to the occurrence of a result to the detriment of the person themselves due to / by analyzing the processed data exclusively by means of automated systems,

  • in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data occurs, to request the removal of the damage.
